Ajay plays the role of a fearless sardar in this movie. While Sonakshi Sinha plays his romantic interest, Son Of Sardar also stars Sanjay Dutt and Juhi Chawla. The film is directed by Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge? director Ashwini Dhir.
Son Of Sardar is rumoured to be a remake of the Telugu comedy-thriller Maryada Ramanna. SOS is slated to release on Diwali this year, 13 November 2012.
