Ajay Devgan: From Playing Don To Cop

It’s barely been a year since Ajay Devgan sauntered on-screen as the all-white-clad Sultan Mirza in Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai, and the actor is already set to do a diametrically opposite role in Singham, which releases this Friday (July 22).

But between playing the underworld don in 2010 and the khaki clad cop in Singham, Ajay Devgan has had a good run in his personal and professional life. Though a few of his films, including Aakrosh and Toonpur Ka Superrhero didn’t exactly set the box-office on fire; Devgan did strike gold with Golmaal 3 and Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji. Returning to the action genre after eight long years, Ajay beefed up his body for the role of the no-nonsense cop, Bajirao Singham.

At the personal front, Ajay became a daddy again after wife Kajol gave birth to a bonny boy, Yug, in September last year.

Besides Singham, Ajay Devgan’s fans have Tezz and Rascals to look forward to.
