Hate Story 2 has been performing steady so far. The film collected 2.40 crores on its first Tuesday. With this, the film stands with a total collection of 20.65 crores at the domestic box office. After starting off on a good note, the film has maintained itself over the week.
Hate Story 2, which opened the best among the three new releases this week, remained quite steady on its Day 2 i.e. 1st Saturday. The movie, as per estimates, made a business of around 5.10 crores yesterday, taking its nett India total so far to 10.35 crores approx at the Box Office.
Hate Story 2 on its first day at the box office kicked off to a terrific start. The film earned 5.25 crores on its first day the box office. The film, that began low, picked up tremendously in the later shows. This Surveen Chawla starrer did very well in North India and Central India.
Hate Story 2 Movie Review | What’s Good: Erm. Too little to be mentioned. Surveen Chawla is decent in first half and Sushant Singh who is too talented to feature in such flimsy films. What’s Bad: Everything else. While logic and erotica don’t quite gel well, films and logic rightly should.
What happens when it comes to seeking vengeance for love? This is exactly what is depicted in this new dialogue promo of Hate Story 2. Surveen Chawla brings out her mean streak and looks powerful enough to take on her enemies.
The Hate Story 2 album is a highly repetitive soundtrack and lacks novelty. It is an overstretched album that could have been wrapped up in 5 songs at its best but it hits you with an eight track album that has remixes which are unnecessary and fail to help the album in anyway. ‘Aaj Phir’ is the only track that will give recognition to this album. With a passable job done by all the composers with this album, I am going with a 2.5/5.
Bhoothnath Returns though failed to begin excessively well at the box office, the movie picked up quite impressively on its second day. On its 1st Saturday, the film made a business of 5.70 crores and with that the film now rests at a domestic total of 9.45 crores at the box office.
Youngistaan, despite being the better film of the lot from this Friday, failed to spark off a good opening. Earning nearly 1.10 crores on its 1st Friday and 1.40 crores on its 1st Saturday at the domestic box office, the film so far accumulated a total income of 2.50 crores.

He is a rockstar, a rage and a youth icon for many. From Khiladi Kumar to King Khan, this International Villager has worked with some of the biggest superstars of the nation and is all set to work with the biggest of all, Big B, in Bhoothnath Returns as well! Clearly these films might not have set the cash registers ablaze like a Chennai Express or a Krrish 3 or a Dhoom 3. It might not have boasted of a heavyweight star shouldering it or an ensemble cast that speaks for the film! But nevertheless, this year saw a flurry of films that took the otherwise bland stereotype Bollywood norms by a total storm. And boy-oh-boy did they succeed!
While last year was a year dominated by powerful male voices, this year has been the crowning year for the swooning female voices that have rendered and belted some of the most popular, enticing and extremely melodious numbers, one that elevated us to the levels of love, passion, compassion and yes, dance as well!
Dhoom 3 on its 1st Sunday has beaten its own record at the domestic box office. The film that recorded Bollywood’s highest single day collections on its opening day with a magnanimous 36 crores toppled that with a bigger income of 37.75 crores on Sunday at the domestic box office. The collections include its Tamil and Telugu numbers as well. With that the film currently stands at a total of 107 crores at the domestic box office.
There has been a constant, unanimous feeling that everything about Dhoom 3 has been kept too much in wraps. We all wished […]
Lakshmi’s trailer is spine chilling. If you are a woman, this is one trailer that drive you through your darkest nightmares forcing you to wonder – what if it was you! Based on a real life incident, the film’s trailer traces the life of a young girl who is forced into prostitution. The subject itself is so relevant to India these days because women here live in the perennial fear of being subjected to sexual terrorism.

Ayush Raina and Vikram Bhatt have collaborated to deliver quite a scary feat with Horror Story. The film that began low on Friday, saw a good pick on Saturday.
Horror Story Movie Review: 2/5 stars. What’s Good: The film is laden with spookily created jarring sounds and successfully builds the fearsome aura What’s Bad: The film is heavily inspired from flicks like The Exorcist along with the climax turning into a bhoot-fair of sorts!
For an adult comedy, Grand Masti is all set to embark on a good start for itself. The film benefits from a terrific recall value that Masti as a series boasts of. Moreover, the entire promotional campaign has been bang on target, hence finding its target audience on it’s way. While this also means that children and to an extent family audience are out of picture for this Indra Kumar directed affair, the fact also remains that the film would see the biggest ever opening for the director who had started his career with family flicks like Dil, Beta and Raja.
